Personality Type
Personality type doesn’t tell you everything about someone, but it can be a start in understanding their working style. I am an ENFJ according to a basic personality test.
While much of my work is independent, I thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy leading design strategy work during the planning phase of any project. My strong sense of empathy helps me understand the needs of who I am designing for while doing user research.

-
Toolbox
I’ve used a variety of design tools including Sketch, Zeplin, Overflow, Proto.io, InVision, etc., but my main toolkit these days consists of Figma for UI design and the Adobe suite for editing graphics. In addition, I’m familiar with a variety of analytic tools like Adobe Analytics, Tealeaf (IBM Certified), and Clarabridge.

Focus Areas
There are numerous areas of focus within the UX Design field. These range from understanding the problem and the solution, as well as balancing the needs of the user and the business.
I excel at putting the user’s needs first, while building strong cases for the best user experience for business owners and stakeholders.
I’ve found presenting this information in a format that tells a clear story and communicates phased approaches to solutions helps get designs to production without sacrificing quality.
