Welcome to my happy place
Though I was formally trained in design, illustration and painting have always come most naturally to me. Much of my inspiration comes from everyday life: my dog, my children, and the natural world. Growing up in Western North Carolina, the mountains and their landscapes have become a lasting source of influence in my work.

I started with oils and acrylic paints, especially for projects like murals. Now, I enjoy watercolor painting the most as a personal pastime.
